Bauchi state is a located in northern part of
Nigeria and consists of 20 local governments. It
is a heterogeneous state that was created in
1976 from the former North-Eastern State and the
predominant tribes are Hausa, Fulani, Tangale,
Balewa, Jarawa, Tarewa and Sayawa. It covers
about 66, 500 square kilometers of Landscape.
The state has a very rich history and is one of
the agricultural states in the country.
Bauchi
state has a variety of tourist attractions which
include; Yankari game reserve, Premier Game
Reserve, and Rock Paintings at Shira.
