NIGER DELTA YOUTH MOVEMENT (NDYM) SPENT THEIR ALL AND ALL TO WORK FOR MR. PRESIDENT.
 Published  June 20th, 2012

It has become very necessary for the National Executive Council of the Niger Delta Youth Movement (NDYM), on behalf of the teeming members of the organization to cry out to Mr. President to look in our direction in appointment and other forms of empowerment at least to enable us see the other side of good life after working very hard for the victory of Mr. President before and during the April 16, 2011 Presidential Election.

It is on records that we have written series of letters to the office of Mr. President and have severally drawn the attention of Officers we felt could bring our pitiable, deplorable and agonizing situations to the office of Mr. President but no visible remedy seems to be in the offing.

Our stern belief in the capability of His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, to take Nigeria and Nigerians to the next level, moved the NEC of our organization to erect very formidable campaign structures throughout the Niger Delta and later to all the states of Nigeria.

Beginning from 2010, we reached out to organizations like REBUILD NIGERIA INITIATIVE, GOODLUCK/SAMBO PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN ORGANIZATION and later NATIONAL COALITION FOR JONATHAN/SAMBO PRESIDENCY.

In response to an invitation extended to us to attend the FUND RAISING DINNER organized by the GOODLUCK/SAMBO PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN ORGANIZATION on Friday, October 29, 2010 at the International Conference Center, Abuja, the NEC of NDYM, from the nine states of the Niger Delta, attended and donated very handsomely towards the prosecution of the political processes that led to Mr. president's Electoral victory.

Following the appointment of the current National President of our organization as the National Youth Leader of the NATIONAL COALITION FOR JONATHAN/SAMBO PRESIDENCY, NACOJP, the operational horizon of the NDYM extended to every part of Nigeria. And so between January and February , 2011, the leadership of the NDYM constituted the Youth Wing of the National Coalition For Jonathan/Sambo Presidency comprising the followings;
1. National Executive Council of the youth wing of NACOJP consisting of youth leaders drawn from North-East, North-Central, North-West, South-West, South-East and South-South geo-political zones of our country.
2. State Executive Councils in all the thirty-six states and the FCT.
3. Senatorial Executive Council in each senatorial districts in Nigeria.
4. Local Government Executive Council in each of the 774 local government councils in Nigeria.
5. Ward Executive Council in each of the wards in Nigeria.

Outside the many Newspaper publications, billboards, posters, handbills and flyers, the leadership of the NDYM published three campaign books to further buttress and strengthen the campaign machinery of the GOODLUCK/SAMBO PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN ORGANIZATION. And for the first time, the NDYM introduced and effectively used the INTERNET CAMPAIGN STRATEGY to always reach millions of Nigerians

We have patriotically supported all the policies and programmes of the Federal Government but it is deeply painful to recall that in spite of our enormous contributions and support, the NDYM, as an organization, has not been considered for any form of empowerment or appointment.

It is from hearts filled with dejection that we call on Mr. President to look in our direction since we are terribly frustrated and left in the colds after working so hard..
