This is an open invitation to
brand managers, marketing communications practitioners, students, academics and
other professionals interested in the field, study and practice of branding and
brand management to submit their researched papers, articles, brand related news
features, photos of product launches and other brand events for publication in
the launch edition of nigerianbrands, a scholarly and brand news feature journal
dedicated to the elevation of the study and practice of branding in Nigeria.
The launch edition of nigerianbrands is scheduled for publication in the 4th
quarter of 2009 and presents a good opportunity for brand managers to enhance
their brand value by placing advertorials and advertisements in the journal and
also in the online portal (www.nigerianbrands.org) which will be updated daily.
Nigerianbrands is a subscription based journal which will be published
bi-monthly. Copies will be available at all strategic Nigerian foreign missions,
key libraries and universities in Europe, Asia and America, foreign embassies in
Nigeria, all public libraries in Nigeria, Nigerian higher institutions, major
hotels, restaurants and event centres in Nigeria etc.
According to Desmond Ekeh, the launch editor of nigerianbrands; “nigerianbrands
will bridge the theory and practice gap, and help project brands made in Nigeria
to the world. We are all excited about the launch edition as a lot of work has
gone into it”.
